OFFICE MANAGER

WE OFFER

Hourly income with bonuses. This is a full time EOA career opportunity position. And although it is a customer service / sales position, daily contact is almost exclusively with our existing membership. Trade dollar compensation may be used for personal and family EOA medical and child care to advertising, automotive, beauty & health, construction & maintenance, dining and food, entertainment & sports, retail, travel in Alaska and worldwide. We also provide a generous business expense account; your own office and all holidays and weekends off.

 

WE TRAIN

We offer EOA career opportunity seekers a complete seven month, on-the-job paid training program:

 

•   Account Executives (6 month training period)

•   Account Brokers (6 month training period)

•   Office Manager (7 month training period)

•   Senior Trade Broker (intensive 12 month training period)

 

EOA career opportunity for Office Manager starts as an Assistant Office Manager, who is responsible for the processing of all member and project paper work, and correspondence between members. Office Assistant will maintain the office environment by answering phones, filing, and performing special projects and usual paper flow; such as new member data, direct mail and email campaigns, proofreading and editing and other office related work.

 

DATABASE ENTRY

• Input membership information into various databases, make routine changes.

• Process incoming checks; create daily ledger of deposits.

• Prepare, manage and execute regular email communications.

• Prepare mailing lists, labels and inserts for newsletters, Annual Reports, special events as required.

 

OFFICE MANAGEMENT

• Maintain office filing and storage systems.

• Keep filing/document management system documents organized.

• Monitor and order office supplies.

• Distribute/file all incoming mail.

• Perform errands that assist daily functions: working shippers / courier services.

• General reception duties. Return calls as appropriate, usually per request.

 

STAFF ASSISTANCE

• Assist with development / implementation of direct marketing solicitations.

• Assist EOA IT department with daily tasks.

• Research, typing, correspondence, faxes, and filing.

​• Prepare Work flow Manuals and annually updates.

• Keep updated member contact list and assist with member mailings.

 

COMMUNICATIONS

• Maintain up-to-date press contact list and distribute press releases to same.

• Assist in all aspects of event planning and implementation for EOA events.

• Help publicize corporate donations.

• Assist with creation of flyers, special event notices, tickets, press releases, etc.

• Assist at events, including setting up, breaking down and other tasks as needed.

• Perform clerical duties for events.

• Assist with creation and running of display booths.

 

WE SEEK

DAILY EVENTS

Office Assistant’s days end with the preparation of the next morning’s meetings where staff gives ideas, and assists and updates fellow team members of their individual projects and needs. Then to phone, fax and email communications to satisfy clients desires by transferring clients to those proper staff members.

ACCOUNT BROKER DUTIES

Account Brokers stay busy with behind the scenes concierge support. Brokers two main duties are recruiting new business clients and connecting buyers with sellers. Brokers monitor all transactions to assure that both parties receive exactly what they want. Brokers then assist the client who has just make a sale, use their trade dollars to acquire what they want – and the cycle never stops.

 

Our client’s requests are quite varied. They range from reminding clients of their spouse's birthday, to hotel accommodations for clients in Asia; or a new sign; to carpet cleaning; a hot-tub or catering and banquet facilities for 300 of their top clients; or the delivery of a single rose to a client's spouse.

 

WE OFFER

Hourly income with bonuses. This is a full time position. And although it is a customer service / sales position, daily activity is divided between growing our client base and providing them concierge services. Trade dollar bonuses may be used for personal and family EOA medical and child care to advertising, automotive, beauty & health, construction & maintenance, dining and food, entertainment & sports, retail, travel in Alaska and worldwide.

WE TRAIN

We train – We offer career seekers a twelve month training, starting as an Assistant Account Broker, and progressing to a Account Broker. This is a on-the-job paid training program which consists of learning:

 

(i) Basic computer / office / cellphone / lab-top all inter-connected, communication skills.

(ii) Our industry’s unique and complex trade software.

(iii) How to up-sale and cross-sale brokered assignments.

(iv) How to book member’s travel – local and worldwide.

(v) How to approve credit / debit card transactions; and

(vi) How to market client businesses to other members by matching wants with available goods and services.

(vii) How to compute and extend credit – mortgages, loans and lines-of-credit.

(viii) How to help client’s with large balances spend what they have.

(ix) How to help client’s with negative or low balances quickly earn more funds.

(x) How to collect past due fees.

(xi) And; how to help stock, price and manage member website and our physical store, while assisting member shoppers.

Broker’s duties are personally rewarding and are never dull.

 

OVERVIEW

Position’s two main duties consist of bringing desired businesses into our group; and then providing a complete on-going concierge service for business owners, their families and employees of our clients. Our service allows businesses the ability to trade for what they want within our low competition, quality controlled community. To accomplish this we use skilled brokers and a private currency, called trade dollars.

 

 

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVES
